Multicultural Motion

Lorena Loaiza's mural is installed on the outer wall of Building 400, which houses arts classrooms. Measuring 140 feet wide by 15 feet high, it depicts a vibrant tapestry of creative people performing. Acrylic paint applied directly onto the fluted concrete exterior of the building means the image viewers see depends on their point of view. Dedicated on May 28, 1992, Loaiza worked with over 40 SDHS art students to create the mural.
