Broadway Towers Phase 2

Located just across the street from City College station, phase 2 of the Broadway Towers is an important piece in the puzzle for San Diego as the region focuses on transit oriented development. Developed by Pinnacle International, the Broadway Towers will be finished with the completion of the north Broadway Tower in Q1 of 2025. With roughly 1600 units of housing expected to be completed in 2024, the 344 residential units in phase 2 will come on the tail end of a significant boom in finished projects without nearly as many projects expected to be completed within the immediate future.

The second phase of the Broadway towers will include 4,300 sq. ft. of retail space on the ground floor. At this time a future tenant has not been announced. This additional commercial space is a welcome addition in a part of East Village that currently has 3 empty blocks. With 51 affordable units, the second Broadway Tower is an important step in ensuring downtown continues to be a home for all kinds of people.

With the 4.1 acre East Village Green park expected to be completed in mid 2025, just after the completion of Broadway Towers phase 2. And a number of other projects planned to be completed this year. East Village continues to grow at a rapid pace. Residents of the Broadway Towers will get a front row seat as East Village continues to go higher and higher.
